Work from wedding: Groom sitting with laptop at mandap

A groom took the phrase work from home too seriously and was seen working on his laptop on his wedding day.

The video went viral on the internet. In the video, the groom is seen sitting at the mandap with the device on his lap. As he works on his laptop, the guests and the pandit can be seen waiting for him, to start the ritual. It was the bride’s reaction that left the netizens in splits.

The Maharashtrian bride is seen sitting on the couch on the other side of the wedding hall, laughing out loud as the camera panned to show her. When the camera turns back at the groom once again, the groom hands over his device to someone else and was ready to get married.

The text on the reel read, “Work from home nah….Its work from wedding.”

While many slammed the toxic office culture, others clarified that the groom wasn’t working. “He is just setting up video call so that other people can attend the virtual weddings,” a user wrote.
