According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) scientist CS Patil, Bengaluru is expected to continue experiencing widespread light to moderate rain along with occasional thunderstorms over the next four days. This forecast has brought hope to the city, which had been grappling with extreme temperatures exceeding 38 degrees Celsius.
IMD scientists had predicted the development of breezes over the south interior Karnataka districts, indicating a shift in weather patterns.
The recent change in weather, marked by clouds forming in the evening, led to the sudden onset of rainfall.

However, the recent showers have brought relief to the city’s residents, lowering the mercury levels and offering a break from the intense heat. The forecasted thunderstorms over the next few days are expected to further decrease temperatures by a few degrees, providing some much-needed relief to Bengaluru.
