The City Central Crime Branch (CCB) successfully arrested Mallikarjuna, also known as Malli, a documented history-sheeter associated with the Whitefield police station in Bengaluru.

Mallikarjuna stands accused in two murder cases that transpired in Kadubeesanahalli and Rajanukunte localities of Bengaluru. Having been missing for a prolonged two-year period, inquiries into his whereabouts were met with the family members asserting his demise. Even the accused’s friends and relatives were led to believe in the veracity of his reported death.

The family members had also obtained documents to support the claim that the accused had passed away. Growing suspicious about these assertions, the police investigated the matter and got to know that he was still alive.

The accused rowdy-sheeter had been constantly moving from place to place, evading arrest. However, the CCB team succeeded in arresting him.
