What are your feelings about contesting elections for the first time in your life?

I am grateful for this unique opportunity to bring the government led by our favorite Prime Minister Modi back to power, and, on the other hand, for the responsibility of ushering in the journey of Amrit Kaal of Development in Tulunadu, Dakshina Kannada.

When did you decide to contest the election, why, and what was the motivation?

Modi is the motivation for my work in the political field. Even before joining the Indian Army, I was in contact with the Sangh. The same motivation led me to join the army. After returning from the Army, I was determined to join politics. Nationalism is my priority, so I started working in BJP.

Who is your godfather in politics and why?

We have been told that the nation comes first and the party second in our organization. Safety, honour, and welfare of the country come first in the army as well. Then comes the people’s, and finally one’s own. So, this principle is the godfather for me.

Why are you contesting for the Lok Sabha in the first attempt?

I am fortunate that a young worker has been given the opportunity to contest in the biggest party in the world. Conditions may favor it. Under Modi’s leadership, young leadership has been encouraged. In recognition of my military service, a soldier from a common family was allowed to represent the district.

Why should people vote for you?

I request voters to choose me for the comprehensive development of the nation, for the smooth working of the infrastructure, and for Hindutva.

How will you win this election? Give five important reasons.

PM Modi’s leadership. Organizational strength of the party. Hard work of party workers. Achievements of BJP government in ten years. Lastly, our ideology.

What are your dreams? What will you do if people elect you to the Parliament?

My dream is to build “Viksit Dakshina Kannada” to complement Modi’s vision of 2047 ‘Viksit Bharat’. Our district has many strengths: geographically rich, educationally advanced, and culturally strong. People are self-respecting. I will work synergiously with the people of the land towards creating opportunities for them by using the government machinery effectively.

What is the first thing you will do in the Constituency if you win?

My priority will be towards completing the infrastructure projects initiated by MP Nalin Kumar focusing on removing obstacles to their implementation and ensuring their timely completion.

What are your 5 dreams for the future of the Constituency?

Preparing a “Viksit Dakshina Kannada Vision Document” with inputs from people’s representatives, citizens, and experts. I will also work to establish a task force for its effective implementation, and all-round development under the guidance of the Prime Minister. Shortening the time required for the movement of people and goods between Mangaluru and Bengaluru, the development of Mangalore Port into a major port in the country, are my other goals.  For job creation, those who have learned here will be encouraged to set up businesses here, and big businesses will be encouraged to invest here. I will also work to showcase the temples here to the world.

Many senior leaders have to be dealt with during the elections. How do you cope?

Our party has a specialty, which Congress-minded people don’t know about. Cultivating the youth, the elders holding the hands of the younger ones and leading them: MPs, MLAs, Ex-MLAs, Ex-District Presidents, and Sangh Parivar. I am only contesting the election as their representative.
