In this way, 98 people affected by the incidents in Madikeri and Jodupala have come to their relatives' place in Puttur on Monday as well as Tuesday. They received sanctuary at various locations including Kabaka, Polya, Padumale, Irde, Narimogaru, Krishna Nagara, Purusharakatte, Kemmayi and other places. They are in much distress as their future remains a mystery.
On Monday, close to 30 people arrived in Puttur. On Tuesday, another 68 people arrived. VHP and Bajarang Dal are providing the additional rice required for them for a month.
