Koppa: King Cobra spreads its hood in moving bus

Chikkamagaluru: An incident of a King Cobra raising its hood in a moving bus has been reported from the Jayapura village of Koppa taluk on Tuesday, September 6.

This took place on a KSRTC bus travelling from Sringeri to Bengaluru.

The bus driver heard a hissing sound. On looking down, he saw the King Cobra spreading its hood near the brake pedal. Shocked by this, the driver immediately stopped the bus.

Meanwhile, the passengers too panicked upon witnessing the venomous snake.
