The bus was proceeding towards Vitla from Puttur and the tipper lorry was passing in the opposite direction when they collided head-on at Kambalabettu. The driver of the bus has sustained serious injuries while, the passengers narrowly escaped with minor injuries.
Some injured passengers were treated at Vitla Community Health Centre while some others have been shifted to a hospital in Puttur.
