Mangala Stadium to be developed at cost of Rs 3.5 crore

Mangaluru: The state government will release a grant of Rs 3.5 crore for the comprehensive development of Mangala Stadium in the city, announced city south MLA Vedavyas Kamath, speaking after inaugurating the Dakshina Kannada Athletics Championship – 2019 organized by the Dakshina Kannada district Athletics Association at Mangala stadium.

“Already an amount of Rs 10 crore is released from the Mangaluru Smart City project for the comprehensive development of the stadium. Sports persons can achieve success by continuous hard work and grit,” said the MLA.
