Bike knocks down pedestrian

Puttur: An elderly pedestrian died after he was knocked down by a bike at Mukrampady on the outskirts of the town here on Sunday, October 15^th.  The deceased has been identified as Vishweshwar Bhat (67) of Mukrampady. 

Mr Bhat was critically injured in the accident and was soon admitted to a private hospital in Puttur. He was later shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru; however he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries.
